Croque Monsieur Bake

This recipe is by the wonderful Nigella Lawson, and it’s the perfect choice for any breakfast or brunch worth celebrating. šŸ’™

I made mine with brioche bread, but you can use whatever bread you love best!

If the meat lovers in your family are anything like mine, I highly recommend adding a little extra protein. Before baking, layer in your favorite deli meat—salami, Canadian bacon, extra ham, or whatever you enjoy most.

Want to take it to the next level? Turn it into a Croque Madame by topping it with a fried egg with a perfectly runny yolk šŸ³ and serve it with breakfast sausage or crispy applewood-smoked bacon šŸ„“ on the side. And a mimosa? Why not! šŸ„‚āœØ
