You can use your favorite mushrooms and herbs of preference.
Ingredients:
6 chicken thighs
2 cups of your favorite mushrooms (I like shiitake)
3 cloves of minced garlic
1 shallot, minced
1 tablespoon of fresh thyme
1/2 cup of white wine
3/4 cup of heavy cream
Olive oil
2 tablespoons of butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic and onion powder to taste
Instructions:
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a skillet, sear, and cook the chicken for approximately 8-10 minutes per side. Set aside.
- In the same pan, add olive oil, butter, and mushrooms—season with salt and pepper to taste. Then add the shallots and garlic, stir for approximately 1 minute, and add the white wine.
- When the white wine almost evaporates, add the cream and then the thyme. Mix everything well for approximately 1 minute.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve immediately.
