Chicken with Creamy 🍄 Sauce

You can use your favorite mushrooms and herbs of preference.

Ingredients:

6 chicken thighs
2 cups of your favorite mushrooms (I like shiitake)
3 cloves of minced garlic
1 shallot, minced
1 tablespoon of fresh thyme
1/2 cup of white wine
3/4 cup of heavy cream
Olive oil
2 tablespoons of butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic and onion powder to taste

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a skillet, sear, and cook the chicken for approximately 8-10 minutes per side. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add olive oil, butter, and mushrooms—season with salt and pepper to taste. Then add the shallots and garlic, stir for approximately 1 minute, and add the white wine.
  4. When the white wine almost evaporates, add the cream and then the thyme. Mix everything well for approximately 1 minute.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve immediately.
