Add this to your fall charcuterie board:
Pumpkin Brie with fig jam — soft, gooey, and so good !
Ingredients
- 1 wheel of Brie (8 oz works great)
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- Fig jam or your favorite jam (apricot, raspberry, pepper jelly… all are bomb)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Kitchen twine
- To decorate: 1 cinnamon stick or pretzel stick + 1 sage leaf
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Place the puff pastry on a board. Spoon a thin layer of jam in the center and place the Brie on top.
- Wrap the puff pastry around the Brie and seal well underneath.
- Flip it seam side down and tie with kitchen twine, creating 8 sections (like a pumpkin 🍂).
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake 20–25 minutes or until golden brown all over.
- Remove twine and insert a cinnamon stick or pretzel stick as the pumpkin stem + garnish with a sage leaf. 🍃
- Serve warm with crackers, nuts and your favorite berries. Enjoy!✨
