šŸ…Pan TumacaĀ

I love how simple ingredients can create something so tasty. This appetizer pairs perfectly with serrano ham, a glass of wine, and good company. While ripe tomatoes are ideal, I craved this dish today and used what I had on hand.

You will need:

– 1 garlic clove

– Bread

– Ripe tomatoes

– Good quality extra virgin olive oil

– Salt, to taste

To prepare the sauce, grate the tomato pulp into a bowl (I used a cutting board to show the process). Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt to taste. I like to let the sauce marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Toast the bread and rub each slice with the raw garlic. Then, spoon the tomato sauce onto the bread and drizzle with more olive oil.

Enjoy! šŸ’«šŸ·
