Brussels sprouts tend to be bitter, but when cooked, they taste sweeter and become very soft. This recipe could be a hit if you have a picky eater at the Thanksgiving table who doesn’t like Brussels sprouts.
You will need
1 1/2 pounds of brussels sprouts
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic glaze or mix 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar and 1 tablespoon of honey.
Cripy pancetta or bacon (optional)
Serves 6 as a side dish
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Clean your Brussels sprouts, cut the stems, and remove the damaged outer leaves. Season with salt, pepper, and extra virgin olive oil, and mix well. Line a baking dish with parchment paper or use an oven-safe dish. Roast in the oven for about 25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until tender and golden brown. Once they are ready, drizzle with balsamic glaze. You can also add crispy pancetta or bacon just before serving. Enjoy!💫
