🥟Easy Calzone

Just add the ingredients you like, and in minutes, your cravings will be ready!! In this recipe, I use the Pillsbury pizza crust; you can also use dinner rolls to make mini calzones. 

Tips:

– Do not overfill the calzone.

– Make sure your filling has consistency.

– Don’t skip the egg wash.

– Serve with your favorite marinara sauce.

– To make it prettier, finish it with chopped parsley. 

🥟Ingredients:

– 1 Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust

– Sliced Pepperoni (as many as you wish)

– 4 Cooked Maple breakfast sausages (as many as you wish)

– 1 cup of Sargento Shredded 6 Cheese Italian mix

– 3/4 cup of ricotta 

– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar 

– 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella 

– 1 egg beaten with a splash of water 

– Chopped parsley 

– Salt and red pepper flakes to taste

🥟Directions:

Mix the ricotta, shredded cheese, and parsley in a bowl and season with salt and red pepper flakes. Add the filling to the dough, then roll it into a calzone. Seal the ends with a fork. Brush the egg wash on top and bake following the package instructions. 

Leave it on a cooling rack for about 3 minutes. Serve and finish with parsley on top and marinara sauce on the side. Enjoy! 💫
